Mike wrote a post on the Namepros blog titled, “Inbound Wont Save You: Here’s Your Wake-Up Call”
Opinions have come out from all sides. From those who know the actual definition of spam, to those that think anything they don’t like is spam. Those who have have tried outbounding, and those who want to try outbounding.
Mike is trying to help people that can’t just sit back and wait, it’s great so many people are able to just win some auctions, change nameservers and then go take a nap, have a drink or play golf.
The truth many are not in that boat. The one thing that no one should be doing is contacting other domainers with their outbound. They are not your end user and tend to get pissed when they get these emails. If you are new this can have an effect on you. People block you, mute you, mock you and that can make your role in domaining harder.
Mike has plenty more info on his blog, SullysBlog.com check it out.
