Glen Allsopp started publishing a post way back in 2016 that looks at what companies are dominating Google? He updated the post for the 2023 edition and it’s a really detailed and interesting read.

Since the post has been written for many years a lot has changed and some things have stayed the same.

The main gist of the article stems from the fact, that what many casual web users think they are seeing a diverse list of websites in Google search results. The facts are they are often owned by just a few brands.
