There was an error on the initial tweet, it was SecondBrain.com that sold for $120,000.
SecondBrain.ai sold for $120,000 courtesy of Dave Evanson and Shinyoung Park of Sedo. This is one hell of a sale in my opinion. When you have a super premium one word name in .ai the sales flow but you don’t see many two worders.
I was talking to someone when Dave tweeted and they wondered how someone had the stones to ask for $12,000 let alone $120,000. I have heard the term before so I told them I was not surprised someone thought they had a gem.
The domain name was registered in 2017 at Gandi. There is a developed website at usesecondbrain.com. AI-powered Writing Companion that you can use on any website. Second Brain will help you to generate better articles, emails, tweets, messages and more.
Congrats to the seller.
The Correction

Cool sale.
The bigger take-away here comes from the fact that the marketplace can – and does – change so quickly, that a hand-registered name can be sold for a 1.2M percent (…not a typo!) increase in price after only 6 years.
Try getting those returns on any other asset in your portfolio.
Ray- I believe that Dave @sedo sent out a second tweet saying that the sale was actually SecondBrain.com and not .ai.
Thank you Mike, posted correction.
Ray. This was a mistake. The name that sold was SecondBrain.com
Thank you Braden posted correction.
