Public.com sold for $900K just after the company raised $15M

Well it seems “proper domain sharks” were involved in the sale of Public.com. I think I actually have an account with them that I have never used. But back to the domain name, Leif Abraham shared the story on X. $150K upfront was what they paid and then paid $4K over 36 months. $606K at the end.

We purchased https://t.co/18wpqbwUvy for $900k from folks who are proper 'domain sharks', at a time where we had raised around $15M. The way we structured the deal was what made us comfortable:
