.HT is the country code for Haiti. There have not been a lot of reported .ht domain name sales. They are not cheap, 101Domain shows a reg price of $125.99, Nominus is cheaper at $98.99.
It looks like they made a change to their minimum length, I see on Namebio some 1 letter sales but now you need to be 2 character minimum.
Of course if you are not in Haiti or doing business there, the extension lends itself to domain hacks. Rig.ht, Tig.ht, and today’s record sale by DomainGaze.com Lig.ht for $26,000.
Congrats to them and it will be interesting to see what gets done with the name.
